The US administration appointed Donald Booth, former US envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, as Special Envoy for Sudan. Booth together with US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Tibor Nagy, arrived on Wednesday, 12 June 2019, and met with the Military Council and the Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change after they reached a deadlock, especially after the Military Council broke up the sit-in in front of the General Command through a bloody massacre, in which dozens were killed and hundreds were injured, so the forces of freedom and change announced escalation, and that they and they would only sit with the military council through an intermediary!! Meanwhile, the representative of Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, who is leading mediation between the military junta and the forces of freedom and change, continues to run between the two parties, and US Assistant Secretary of State Tibor Nagy has announced support for the efforts of the African Union and Ethiopian mediation.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Sudan affirm the following regarding these events:
First: Sudan, through its Military Council, continues to be under the American tutelage that was under the former regime. And here is America, through its agents in the region, has moved the events in Sudan, and when it bogged down, it dispatched its assistant secretary of state and appointed its envoy Donald Booth to put the scenario to break the deadlock over power, and to absorb the curse of the bloody massacre!!
Second: Although youth have come out against the injustice inflicted on the people in Sudan due to the application of unjust capitalist systems, the reality is that the military and civilians, both sides of the conflict, are moving on the same mentality that will reproduce the former secular system itself, which brought injustice and humiliation to the people of the country, and which is most prominently characterized by the tutelage of the Western Kaffir over it.
Third: The military and the forces of freedom and change that call for civil state, both did not make the Islamic Aqeedah a basis for their viewpoint, nor for dialogue and negotiation between them, but rather negotiations were made on the man-made basis and under international tutelage, which brought the country and the people to this life of misery.
The only way out of the crisis experienced by the people of Sudan is to refer to the rulings of Islam and putt them into practice and implementation by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate State) on the method of the Prophethood, for it is alone that will liberate the Ummah from the shackles of colonialism and the tutelage of America. So that Allah may be pleased with us and we live a life that pleases the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth, and the people are pleased by it. So, for the like of this let the workers work.
