The 6th Jerusalem Islamic International Conference on “Support Jerusalem and strengthen the steadfastness of Jerusalemites… the role and duty” ended its activities on Thursday, 21/05/2015 in the West Bank with decisions that urged visiting Jerusalem, providing financial support and supporting the Palestinian Authority in its orientation towards international institutions. Official delegations and personages attended this conference from Jordan, Turkey, Sudan, Russia, Tunisia and a representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, while the occupation prevented the Egyptian delegation from entering Palestine to participate in the conference.
Moreover today, the people of Jerusalem have objected the visit of the Jordanian Chief of Judges, Ahmed Halil, to Al-Aqsa Mosque before Friday prayers. The guards beat an elderly man and threw him to the ground, which outraged worshipers and fueled protests inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir have familiarized Muslims with our clear positions on issues and events expressing our positions with clear and evident political and ideological statements and innovative disciplined public actions far from chaos; like the one that occurred inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque today, where suspicious sides exploited the bad behavior of the Judge’s guards and created chaos inside the Mosque. Some of them even cursed the Divine Entity and uttered profanity; unfit for Muslims in and out the Mosque. As for our position of the Conference and its decisions, we clarify it in the following:
First: We affirm that Jerusalem is like the rest of Palestine; living under occupation by a brutal enemy who does not observe in its people any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. For it has killed and exiled the people of Palestine, including the people of Jerusalem, demolished houses, desecrated holy sites in Jerusalem, Hebron and torched mosques throughout many cities. It ruined farms, uprooted olive trees, plundered water, confiscated land, and imprisoned and tortured prisoners. Its crimes remain visible and are repeated every day, and it works to demolish Al-Aqsa Mosque by undermining its foundations.
Second: The whole of the Islamic Ummah bears the responsibility for the liberation of all of Palestine, including Jerusalem. Because Palestine is an Islamic land, blessed by Allah, and mixed with the blood of the companions and others from the armies of Islam. It is usurped by the Jewish entity brutal enemy, and the surrendering of an inch of its land to them is prohibited. Rather the Muslim armies must sacrifice the precious and cherished and the pure blood in order to liberate it, so it returns to the bosom of the Ummah, to preserve it with their visits, their prayers and their money, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ requested.
Third: The duty of the scholars and officials, who participated in this conference and others, is to enter Jerusalem at the forefront of the armies of conquest, acclaiming and shouting Takbeers. And not enter it by normalizing the occupation and under its permission; allowing for this and preventing that. By so, this ruthless enemy is stressing its sovereignty in the blessed land of Palestine and reminding the normalizers that Jerusalem and the rest of Palestine is subject to its (Jewish entity) authority. And at the same time to accustom them to swallow humiliation and indignity by setting an example for others in this submission and humiliation. Furthermore to make its presence, vision and control a norm in the minds of present and future generations, so no one thinks of liberating it, but rather everyone to come visit Jerusalem under the bayonets of the occupation with its permission.
Fourth: This conference was held under the pretext of supporting Jerusalem, but when it finished, it showed that its decisions are empty of support of Jerusalem and its people, a real support. Since the conference did not address the liberation of Palestine, including Jerusalem, and did not issue a single phrase calling for liberation by mobilizing the armies of the Ummah. Instead, the conference stressed the continuation of visits under the spears of the occupation and supporting the PA efforts that shoved the issue of Palestine into the corridors of the unjust international organizations that were the cause of the presence of the occupation and supported it by the unjust international decisions.
We recognize that the rulers and the PA are in a continuing effort to install the Jewish entity in Palestine, particularly in the occupied land of 1948, because they abandoned the duty of liberating it and submitted the issue of Palestine to an authority unable to protect and feed itself, which in turn submitted the issue for America and other Kufr states and the international institutions. Nonetheless, normalization with the occupation and entering Palestine through its embassies to become a praised matter, then, such is insolence of the rulers and their collaborators and a disgrace in this world and a grave torment the Hereafter that is far harsher and severe if they are wise.
We emphasize that the people of Palestine will not accept the normalizers, rather they are waiting for the conquerors, the liberators, to march with their armies. And this will be attainable in the soon to come Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood, with the permission of Allah, since the rulers abandoned their role in the liberation and contented themselves with normalization and with being paid a sum of money to be pacified; evil is that which they rule.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا * يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
“O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.”
(Al-Ahzab: 71)
