“Together with the Ummah to Reestablish Khilafah, Saving Indonesia from Neoliberalism and Neoimperialism”

Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah Almighty, during the entire month of May 2015, coinciding with the month of Rajab 1436 AH, Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia has successfully held a series of Massive meeting and Rally March Akbar (RPA) in 35 major cities across Indonesia. The series had reached climax on May 30 at the Bung Karno Stadium, attended by about 100 thousand participants. This year’s rallying theme was “Together with Ummah to reestablish Khilafah, Saving Indonesia from Neoliberalism and Neoimperialism”, RPA had been organized as a means to be committed to the vision and mission of the Ummah’s great efforts for the reestablishment of the Khilafah in order to resume a comprehensive Islamic way of life. Vision and mission are crucial to remain alive and to be affirmed especially during the incessant onslaught of ideological challenges that have been besieging and threatening the security of this country, namely neoliberalism and neoimperialism.

Massive Gathering and Akbar Parade 1436 AH at the Bung Karno had been concluded and proclaimed the Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia Political Resolution:

• That in fact this country collapsed because of neoliberalism and neoimperialism
• There is no true and complete solution for this country except by Islam through the implementation of Shariah in the shade of the Khilafah
• Invite the Ummah to join, support and continue the struggle with earnest and sincerity for the reestablishment of Shariah and Khilafah

Hizb believes that the collapse of the previous Khilafah has destroyed the Islamic world and led to the emergence of various calamities afflicting the Muslims. The revival of the Islamic world from the ground up is only possible through the reestablishment of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood. The caliph will unite the Muslims around the world, to apply compensive Shariah and confront all kinds of threats, especially neoliberalism and neoimperialism, so that this country will truly reach the status of Baldah tayyibah wa rabbun ghafur (Land of prosperity under the blessing of Allah).

In this regard, on behalf of the Central Executive Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia, we would like to

1. Thank leaders of prominent organizations, political organizations, Islamic institutions, civilian officials as well as military armed forces and national police both local and regional levels. More importantly, our appreciation goes out to all participants who have attended the RPA 1436 AH making the event successful, well organized and secured within the area of Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta. We would also thank the security forces who had been keeping the events in an orderly manner. We also saluted the print and electronic journalists who have covered this event, the organizing committees and all those who have helped the successful execution of this event. May all efforts directed to this event would be counted by Allah azza wa jalla as righteous deeds and earn merit in the sight of Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
2. Apologize for any shortcomings and traffic congestions during RPA 1436 AH event at the Bung Karno, Jakarta in particular, as well as RPA held in 34 other cities.
3. Remind the Ummah about the importance of Shariah and Khilafah and its vital roles in resuming Islamic way of life and protecting dignity of all Muslims. We make du’a that this RPA can actually move and inspire people to initiate changes that will lead to essential goodness.
