Children of Yemen are Firewood Burnt to Achieve International Interests

International organizations and agencies are rushing to report on the misfortunes and tragedies and suffering of Muslim children, and count the number of their dead, distressed, oppressed, and displaced, as Muslim countries became replete with statistics and volatile events that necessitates and attracts these organizations. The United Nations Organization has reported the killing of 365 children in Yemen and over 480 injured children since the outbreak of the war in March last year, the organization also warned that half a million children suffer from malnutrition, and that 1.8 million dropped out from school.

The situation of the Yemeni children suffering from the deteriorating living conditions or rather the non-existent living conditions and the state of fear, horror, and deprivation is a result of their repeated targeting by Saudi American coalition planes and Houthis and other militias and their supporters, all in a criminal process in which children and women primarily bear the brunt of it.

Even though the Saudi American coalition chants about democracy and children and human rights, we find their actions contradict their words. Targeting children in Yemen constitutes a crime against humanity and a clear violation of international law and norms which call to spare the targeting of civilians, especially children during military confrontations.

What the children of Yemen suffer from this criminal process confirms the hysteria, confusion and randomness of the conflicting parties in Yemen which spewed its fire randomly and spitefully resulting in its failure to achieve political victory, so it resorted to strike with an iron fist at whatever cost. The price as we have witnessed are the fragmented bodies of children and the displacement of others and denying the rest of them educational opportunities and access to health care and proper nutrition.

O Muslims in Yemen,

Your children are the future of your country and those who will deliver your glory. Do not make them the wood that is burnt to carry out oppressive political schemes against you, that you have suffered which exposed the flaws of your regime and criminality against you and your children. Do not be collaborators for the falsehood or tools used by the regime to strike with. Instead be helpers and supporters for the truth, and be aware of the plots of the Kufr countries and their plans, in order to stop them. Do not be tempted by the conferences which are convened nor by the proposed solutions. If the West wanted good for you, they would have stopped themselves and their supporters from meddling in your countries and in Muslim countries in general.

O Muslims

Oppression and the oppressors has spread for too long in Muslim countries. The Ummah suffered from strife and still does, like a ball hurled by major powers fighting over it, and pushed into wars beyond its control.

The Ummah today is in a decisive battle one that is a serious and pivotal political movement. It is deserving only of what amounts to its level; which is for the Ummah to take its issue, battle and struggle of one of life and death, as taken by the Prophet ﷺ in his struggle against the Kaffir nations. He did not weaken nor compromise, nor did he flatter in his cause, rather he took the appropriate measure and said:

«والله يا عم لو وضعوا الشمس في يميني والقمر في يساري على أن أترك هذا الأمر ما تركته حتى يظهره الله أو أهلك دونه»

“’O my uncle, by Allah, if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left in return for my giving up this cause, I would not give it up until Allah makes Truth victorious, or I die in His service”.

The method of the Messenger ﷺ is an obligation for us to follow and is the path to our liberation and lifting of injustice from our shoulders, so that we can free ourselves from the domination of the Kuffar and their supporters, and return to our status, our dignity and glory. This will preserve our blood and honour and protect the sanctities of Allah.

We in the Women’s Section of Hizb ut Tahrir therefore call you to rid yourselves of the humiliating dress and subservience and from the underestimation of yourselves, and to catch up with the workers who are working to make the Deen dominant and the establishing of the Islamic State. There is no life, no dignity and no care for a child, nor a woman and nor an elderly except by its presence.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life”

(Al-Anfal: 24)
