Western Division of the Middle East

The Muslim world around the globe bears very little cultural and political resemblance to its historical past. The streets of the Indian subcontinent, which were once clear of poverty and crookedness are now slums, which home crime, illegal activity and disharmony amongst citizens. Across the Middle East massacres and bombings have become the norm alongside  runaway […]

The Anniversary of the Khilafah’s Destruction is not a time for Weeping and Wailing But to Work Hard to Restore that Usurped Glory

Allah Almighty says: وَأَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ “And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to […]

The Catastrophe of the Khilafah’s Destruction is the Best Incentive to Regain the Honour and Dignity after this State of Weakness and Fragmentation

What the Ummah has been afflicted with and what continues to be afflicted of calamities irrespective of the level of severity, does not count for anything before the abominable crime that befell the Muslims at the hand of the criminal of this age and agent of the English, Mustafa Kamal, on the day that he […]

3rd March – The Tragic Anniversary of the Catastrophic Day that the Muslim Woman Lost Her Shield and Guardian – The Khilafah

The 3rd of March marks 92 years since the colossal tragedy that befell the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ – the abolishment of the Khilafah, the Ruling System of Islam at the hands of Western colonial governments and their treacherous agent Mustafa Kemal. The heart wrenching consequences of that fateful day upon the Muslims and their […]

The Muslim Community in the West and the Call for Khilafah

Muslims in the West face a number of challenges. Some of these are real, others are perceived to be real. Bringing up children and maintaining our identities is a real challenge. Holding onto Islamic values in an ideological society that works to undermine these values is another. Recently, Muslim communities have faced an onslaught, undermining Islamic […]

The Correct Methodology to Establish Khilafah

The establishment of Khilafah is an obligation, rather it is great obligation as it established many obligations, upon Muslims. Allah سبحانه وتعالى has not left the method to establish an obligation for human beings to decide. The methodology for establishing Khilafah like any other obligation is also defined by Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The method to […]

No Alternative to the Humiliation, Subordination and Hardship of the Muslims except by the Return of their State: the Rightly Guided Khilafah on the Method of Prophethood

The abolition of the Islamic Khilafah system in Turkey on the twenty-eighth of Rajab 1342 AH is a landmark event in the history of the Ummah. It draws one’s attention to two eras, before and after the destruction: the first era before the destruction was an era of blessings marked by unity of the countries […]

Khilafah: An Obligation from Allah

“The Imams (of the four madhabs: Abu Hanifa, Malik, Shaf’i, Ahmad) – may Allah have mercy on them – all agreed that the Imamah (Khilafah) is an obligation, and that the Muslims must appoint an imam (Khalifah) who implements the rites of the Deen and gives the oppressed justice against the oppressors, and they agreed that it is not permitted for there be over the Muslims, at any one time, two imams, in agreement or discord…” (The Jurisprudence of the Four Madhhabs [al-Fiqh ‘ala al-Madhahib al-Arba’a], 5:416.)

Q&A: The Postponement of Elections in Nigeria

Question:

On 8/2/2015 CE, the Nigerian Electoral Commission announced the postponement of the presidential and legislative elections which were scheduled to take place on 14th February 2015; they have been postponed to 28th March 2015 under the pretext of internal security concerns… Is this the case? Or is this delay is for international reasons? And if so, which countries are influencing this delay? And what is expected for this election?

I have noticed that the Hizb publications are almost devoid of talk about Nigeria’s issues although it is the largest Muslim country in terms of population in Africa, and overlooks the ocean, and an oil producing country, so why is there no attention paid to it? And excuse me if my right is to ask a question and not to comment… Jazak Allah Khair.

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم taught us the components of an Independent Strong State

News:

A key aide to the leader of Islamic State (Isis) has been killed in a US strike on a convoy near the Iraqi city of Mosul that destroyed 10 vehicles carrying a number of the group’s top militants.

Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman at US Central Command, said on Saturday: “I can confirm that coalition aircraft did conduct a series of air strikes yesterday evening in Iraq against what was assessed to be a gathering of ISIS leaders near Mosul. We cannot confirm if the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was among those present.”

Q&A: Is the work to establish the Islamic State limited to the Arab countries only?

Question:

As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu

I pray that Allah grant you success and bless us with the victory by your hands our Ameer, soon Inshallah, this matter belongs to Allah Alone, and we bear witness you are the best successor to the best predecessors

In the book: Concepts of Hizb ut Tahrir on page 73 (English version) it mentions:

“Carrying the Islamic da’wah and the political struggle for its cause can be undertaken only in the society which the party has defined as its area for activity (majal).Hizb ut-Tahrir considers the society in all the Islamic lands to be one society because its entire cause lies in one case, Islam. However it takes the Arab lands that are a part of the Islamic Lands as a starting point. It considers the establishment of an Islamic state in the Arab countries as a nucleus for the Islamic state as a natural step.”

Reply to Article by Muhana Al-Jubail: Can Democracy be an Alternative to the Khilafah in Achieving Unity?

On 23 August 2014, Aljazeera website published an article in the Knowledge section by Professor Muhanna Al-Jubail titled: “Unity and Khilafah and Democracy“, the writer addressed through it what he called the conservatives among Muslim youth, who are wary of the acceptance of democracy or to exercise it in order to achieve the Islamic unity. This unity is undoubtedly obligatory in the definite texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Statement to Russian Media: “Khilafah – is not what you say”

Starting from 29 June 2014 after the announcement of so called “establishment of the Caliphate” by “The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” organization (ISIL) the whole world witnessed an unprecedented interest of the international media in the event and in the topic of the Caliphate as such. The excitement did not pass the Russian media.

The big headlines appeared in the news of the Runet: “Russia is the main enemy of the new Caliphate”, “Caliphate 2.0” and so on. Virtually every publication, TV channel and news agency considered it their duty to speculate on the topic of the Muslim state.

Q&A: The Legislative (Shari’) Method of Establishing the Khilafah and the Dominant Sultan

Question:

There are some comments on some websites that state: “That Hizb ut Tahrir has defined the method of seeking the Nussrah (material support) to establish the Khilafah, while it abides to, and does not acknowledge any other Legislative (Shari’) method… although there is another method, which is “the method of the dominant Sultan”, i.e. the one who establishes the state by force and fighting… they also said that Hizb ut Tahrir objected Baghdadi’s declaration out of Hizbi prejudice, as the Hizb does not acknowledge the Khilafah as a legitimate one except if it established it…” Can you please provide a conclusive and sufficient answer for these statements? May Allah reward you.
