Bomb Blast on Shia Procession and Murder of Foreign Citizens: Stop the Evil USA from Carrying Out Further Criminal Plots

For the first time in the history of Bangladesh the Shiite community came under attack on October 24, 2015 when a teenager was killed and 80 others were wounded in horrific bomb blasts at Old Dhaka. Immediately after the attack, the US-based SITE Intelligence Group, which has close ties to the US government, released news that the self-styled ‘Islamic State’ (IS) has claimed responsibility of the bombing. Interestingly enough, as per the same SITE Intelligence Group, IS had also claimed responsibility for the recent killing of an Italian and a Japanese citizen in Bangladesh whereas Sheikh Hasina denied that IS was responsible, revealing the obvious tension between Hasina government and America over the existence of ‘Islamic State’ in Bangladesh.

To put the recent escalation of terrorism into perspective, we need to take America’s history of interventions in the Muslim lands into account. It is nothing new that to achieve its geopolitical interests, America has always used its notorious intelligence network and private mercenary armies to incite Shia-Sunni sectarian strife within various Muslim lands to justify her so-called “War on terror”. As a case in point, there was a bomb attack on Shiite Muharram procession in Karachi on 29 December, 2009 carried out by the notorious US private army Blackwater. In the face of Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan’s instantaneous public awareness campaign against such evil US conspiracy, this secret mercenary organization changed its name to ‘Xe Services’ in 2009 and then to ‘Academi’ in 2011. Moreover, the party had also mobilized the public against the notorious CIA agent Raymond Davis who through his secret network killed thousands of Muslims in market places, schools, mosques and madrasahs in Pakistan via bomb blasts. Later on, the interrogation of Davis led to the discovery that 330 other personnel were working undercover in Pakistan to ferment unrest (Pakistan Observer, Monday, March 28, 2011). It is now clear to everyone in Pakistan that America through its notorious CIA network and private army, i.e. Raymond Davis Network and Blackwater (Academi), were and are behind these types of blasts in the universities, mosques, market places and processions to justify its presence in Pakistan. Before entering Pakistan, the US used this same private army (Blackwater) to openly conduct massacres and inflame sectarian violence in Iraq.

Now we see the similar types of evil tactics being also applied here to create Shia-Sunni conflict and drag Bangladesh into the wicked “War on Terror” (aka “War against Islam”). Noteworthy is the fact that the US Embassy in Bangladesh had issued Security Message for its citizens staying in Bangladesh on September 28, 2015 prior to the killing of the Italian citizen in Dhaka. Till now the identity of the assassins remains unknown other than only America is claiming the connection of ‘Islamic State’ with the killing. Hence it is evident that the US is in need of a more strong presence in Bangladesh for its geopolitical interests, and linking the country with its war on terror through orchestrating bomb blasts and assassinations of foreigners under the pretext of ‘Islamic State’ is the perfect justification for more deeper penetration of US in Bangladesh. As the then American Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said in 2009 after a deadly bomb attack in Rawalpindi, Pakistan: “The more they get attacked internally, just like this terrible attack in Rawalpindi at the mosque, the more open they may be to additional help from us…”

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Bangladesh warns the Ummah to be aware of such ominous strategies of America to bring mayhem on this soil through its war against Islam and also calls upon them to work with the party to end the presence of evil America permanently from this region with the establishment of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood.
