On the 26th of October 2015 Ridha Belhadj, Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia, stood before the Sousah district court under the charge of being an Imaam without authorization. This was in Masjid At-Tawaab Sayyidi Abdul Hameed Sousah in which he had undertaken the role of being the Imaam for a period of four years. The court session has now been postponed until the 16th of November 2015 as the result of a request from the one commissioned to look into public disputes so that he can prepare a file that guides to the physical and emotional ‘harm’ that this brought to the state. The judge responded positively to the request and postponed the case.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّـهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَىٰ فِي خَرَابِهَا أُولَـٰئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلَّا خَائِفِينَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
“And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment”
(Al-Baqarah: 114)
It follows that presenting one of the official spokesmen of Hizb who works to revive the Islamic Ummah through the work to establish the rightly guided Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood in Tunisia and other lands in the Islamic world, that presenting him before the courts represents a declaration of war against this Ummah which rose up and revolted against the secular regimes that separated the Deen from its life and then made them taste all kinds of afflictions and tribulations. Those who conspire against the Ummah have hijacked its revolution and they restored the secular regime just as it had been at the time of Ben Ali. And here we have the regime again returning to the policy of repressing the sincere worshippers and Imaams and particularly those calling to the establishment of the Khilafah upon the methodology of the Prophethood like the spokesman of good Ustaadh Ridha Belhadj.
It is a duty upon the Muslims in the land of ‘Uqbah Bin Naafi’ to realise that their revolution has been stolen by the secularists who separate the Deen from their life. They must also realise that changing governments and those implementing the policies of the crusader West will never change anything of their situation. For that reason they have to continue their revolution and to fully complete it by removing the secular system currently standing in the land. It is an obligation upon them to demand the establishment of the Khilafah system upon the methodology of the Prophethood within Tunisia. They must know that amongst them are men who have been truthful to what they have made a covenant with Allah upon, from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir. They represent the leader who does not lie to its people and they have prepared everything that is required and necessary in terms of thought, Fiqh and politics in order to rule by what Allah has revealed, in the shade of the state of justice represented in the Khilafah state upon the methodology of the Prophethood. They are from the Ummah and at its service and so move O Muslims in Tunisia including the influential, the thinkers and the people of power and protection, to give the Nusrah to Hizb ut Tahrir so that it can sweep away the colonialism and its agents from this pure land and rule by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah alone.
