The Hasina government, agent of the enemies of Islam, uses the corrupt police and judiciary to suppress the Islamic Call

On 22nd December 2010 six members of Hizb ut-Tahrir were arrested from Uttara, Dhaka and the following day the police showed them arrested for possessing two petrol bombs, after which the court authorized their remand for torturing them.

The people know this system of evil very well and they recognize the plots, lies and tools it uses against Islam and the Muslims. They are well aware of the government’s policy of suppressing the Islamic Call. The people also know that the police and the judiciary are tools in the hands of the government to execute its policies. Add to this people’s knowledge about the existence of corruption in the police and judiciary as seen from a survey report published just this week where 80% of the people said they were victims of police corruption and 88% said they were victims of the judiciary’s corruption. No more is needed to be said to prove that this is a false case.

It is a clear case of the Hasina government, agent of the enemies of Islam, using the police and judiciary to suppress the carriers of the Islamic Call. Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly condemns the false case against its members and demands their immediate release.
