The Official Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan, Naveed Butt, remains in abduction since 11th May 2012, when thugs from the government agencies forcefully abducted him outside his house in Lahore, in front of his terrified children and neighbors. For six years, the Missing Persons Commission conducted hearings in Naveed’s case. On 27 December 2017, the commission issued a production order that substantiated the fact that Naveed is held by the intelligence agencies. It was issued to the relevant government authorities but Naveed Butt has still not been produced in any court of law. The family was then compelled to file yet another writ in the Lahore High Court to demand that the Bajwa-Imran regime complies with the production order of the Mission Person Commission. The case of Naveed Butt confirms that the current system is blind when it comes to justice for Muslims, springing to life only to serve the colonialists.

The rulers of Pakistan rapidly restored the attacking Indian fighter pilot Abhinandan to his family in “compassion,” but heartlessly deny Naveed even a single phone call to assure his family of his safety, in over seven years. The rulers of Pakistan claim that they want to “strengthen institutions” but arrogantly ignore the production order for Naveed Butt, solely due to their compliance to the colonialist war against Islam and ruling by Islam. The rulers hold Naveed Butt in abduction to please those whose fear of the return of the Khilafah (Caliphate) keeps them awake in their beds, heedless of the warning of Allah (swt), إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ “Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women, and then do not turn in repentance, then they will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.” [Surah Al Buruj 85:10.] Thus, the sinful rulers are merciless in their stance towards a sincere Muslim who called for ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed, even though in a Hadeeth Qudsi, RasulAllah ﷺ said, «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ» “Allah said, whoever harms my Wali I will declare a war against him” [Bukhari]. So will not the fair-minded Muslims distance themselves from this flagrant sin of the rulers, by raising their voices in demand for the production of Naveed Butt?
