In recent days the online paper “Middle-East-Online”, has published two articles about Hizb ut Tahrir in Scandinavia. The first with the title “Denmark’s Islamists: The Exploitation of Freedom of Expression” and the second with the title “Salafi Denmark .. between Al Tahrir and Kaldet”.
Both articles were based on a report from 2014, published in the book “ISIS Incubators: The Emergence of Salafi Jihadism in Europe” by the Dubai based Al-Mesbar Studies & Research Center. The book also covers Hizb ut Tahrir in the UK, but the big question is why? And so what?

The answers are quite simple and obvious to the ones following the international development. Islam is on the rise, and the both the West and its allies in the Muslim world are in two minds on what to do. Within the last 15 years they have shifted from a confronting strategy to a more soft end subtle on, but both have failed. What do you do when all is at stake, you have all the power and the resources available but nothing helps? Well, secular liberalist become desperate…
No one can take the credit for Islam being on a rise, not in Scandinavia, not anywhere, but Hizb ut Tahrir have been steadfast and targeted in their work and that has resulted in a leading position in many Muslim communities around the world, including Scandinavia. This fact alone makes the party an interesting subject of study, if you have desperate wishes of stopping Islam.
When it comes to Hizb ut Tahrir, both strategies have failed, and have even been exposed and dismantled by the party, to big frustration from its backers. What do you do with an Islamic party that does not call for violence, cannot be linked to “terror”, cannot be threatened or bought and cannot be bombed into silence?
In Scandinavia, all has been tried. The researcher behind the report once proposed an orchestrated media-boycott of the party, but that did not affect at all, so the media returned. Today it has come to a point where the party is being regarded as a political player on the scene, and a voice that cannot be bypassed if issues are about Islam or Muslims. Then politicians called for a ban, and the case is still going, but it will be an own goal of dimensions, since it will take a change in the constitution and compromise with their own “freedoms”, so many are against. New attempts come up now and again, but they are in two minds and they have no way out.
The same goes for all over the world, and the idea of a Caliphate is spreading which gives the West and its allies sleepless nights. Therefore, they try to exchange observations and methods, but all they can really share is failure.
Islam is on an historic rise and with it, the sincere dawah carriers from Hizb ut Tahrir. Islam will return to its glory no matter the effort from its enemies.
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّـهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّـهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ
