On Saturday, the 20th October 2018, the parliamentary elections took place in Afghanistan. According to the report of the United Nation Assistant Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) 16 percent (417 persons) of the candidates were women and the current statistics from the Independent Election Commission (IEC) reported that women make up approximately 32 percent of total registered voters. The “Channel-news-Asia” says the growing involvement of women has been welcomed by the United Nations and other international bodies, which see the elections as a vital step in building trust in democratic processes. The UN Mission also said that it is the responsibility of Afghan authorities, political parties, candidates and civil society organizations to take all necessary measures to improve and encourage the participation of women in the elections. They emphasized that women’s full participation – as candidates, electoral workers, observers and voters- is vital for strengthening democracy in Afghanistan.
As always, the corrupt government and the international agents are pursuing their own interests through parliamentary elections. They use the Afghan women to create the appearance of more advancement and civilization. In doing so, the hypocritical Afghan government closes its eyes to the true interests of the helpless Ummah without thinking a second about the reality that the democratic parliament and man-made constitution are not compatible with Islam. This system is based solely on secularism and is intent on removing the Deen from everyday affairs, and that is precisely what the enemies of Islam want to root in Afghanistan. Allah (swt) says:
وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
“And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the disbelievers”
[Al-Ma’ida: 44]
Oh you honorable Muslim women from Afghanistan!
Do not fall into the deceitful intrigues of the Western Versailles and the unscrupulous Afghan government! They give nothing but empty promises to you. Is it not sufficient proof that for more than 17 years of invasion, no improvement has occurred? The Ummah has seen no rise and peace, but only blood-shed and poverty. How can you believe that such a government, which acts only in its own interest, can ensure for you true justice? They just want to seduce you with the corrupt liberties of Western women! But you must be watchful! Western women have not yet received their honor and rights under the secular system. You will never secure respect, a high status and your God-given rights unless you release yourself from the influence of these colonialists and their agents who use you for their own agendas. The woman can only be guaranteed the high status she deserves through the Islamic constitution, including the right to protection, education, property, medicine, honor and safety! No exploitation and manipulation will take place in contrast to democracy’s dealings with human beings.
So our appeal to you our respected sisters is to reject these evil elections in every manner – whether as candidates, voters or assistants – as well as the democratic system, which they are part of, which is against the legislation of Allah (swt). Don’t trust the unbelievers! They will bring you only into ruin in this world and Hereafter!
Allah (swt) says:
وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً فَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
“They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah.”
[An- Nisa: 89]
